Wow! What a great turn out for the 2010 Veterans Day parade held on November 6. The weather was perfect for the citizens of Lenoir County to line Heritage Street and pay tribute to the numerous veterans who completed the March of Honor. The Salute Tribute Show on Saturday night finished the day in proper form. Thanks to all of the organizers and participants for this wonderful reminder of the American Spirit.
The 10th Anniversay paid tribute to many roles women have played in the defense of this country.
This year we honor ALL who have served our country in all branches of service. Join us in Downtown Kinston on November 5, down the south bound lanes of Queen Street at 11am for the parade.

The Lenoir County Emergency Services 911 Memorial was dedicated Sept.11, 2006. Everyones hardwork and support is very welcomed and appreciated!

Proposed 911 Memorial at the Woodmen of the World 911 Flag pole @ Neuseway Park. This memorial will honor all Emergency Services Personnel, not just Kinston and Lenoir County. Salute! welcomes all EMS, Police, Fire, Sheriff and Rescue Personnel.
